Location of the Sweet Spot anatomically.
The Sweet Spot is an area of vulnerability on the body that Richard B. Riddick and Kyra favored in killing their prey.
It can be defined as: "Left of the spine, fourth lumbar down, the abdominal aorta."
The Sweet Spot may be completely fictional as anatomically aorta lies not to the of left of the spine but directly behind the spine and it is actually protected by vertebrae. If you're behind a person you are better off to go for other vulnerable spots in human body.

Riddick first mentions the Sweet Spot when talking to Carolyn Fry in Pitch Black after being blamed for the murder of Zeke.
Kyra then mentions the Sweet Spot in The Chronicles of Riddick in Crematoria in an humorous, allusionary manner to Riddick as she held a shiv to the spot.
William J. Johns explains that he has to use morphine to numb down the pain from a piece of shiv that presses against his spinal cord. Riddick tried to stab Johns in his "Sweet Spot" but missed so Johns didn't die. This piece of shiv had to be left there surgery-wise.
